The New Project Wizard will help you to set up a new project. It will guide you through the set-up of a new project and it will help you to specify the most important settings that are necessary for every extension.
You will start by choosing a name and description for your new extension, and then the number of icons that will be displayed in the different places of your browser.
At the center of the screen you can see a small panel with some elements on it (see the screenshot). When a user clicks on an extension button, this panel will appear. You can drop new elements onto the panel from the Toolbox. You can also rearrange them and remove them.
The Navigation tree will help you select any Projects or Extension buttons which are not visible on the panel.
Our property editor allows you to change and customize the settings of each component.
Extension Maker has a number of advanced features. You may never use all of them. But we decided to add these advanced features because they give you the ability to make small adjustments in some specific cases.
If you decide to use the HTML Box component, our handy HTML editor will be very useful. Simply write a couple of lines of HTML code to customize the appearance of your extension.
